After the sad death of my son, my husband bartered a week in st. Croix. My entire family dragged me from NY to St.Croix. I was in a heap. Upon arrival to the airport , I sat on the bench waiting for them to fetch the luggage, I wiped my tears and said "this is my place. We need to buy a place here, I"m finally at peace". We were only at the airport,mind you! I had no expectations. We met with Ford Real Estate and the next year that's exactly what we did. The reviews cannot begin to show the peace & safety There are so many free things to do that we get by on PB&J .tuna sammies & local Cruzan cuisine.! The food is great everyw re in St. Croix!!!!! THERE IS A REASON FOR EVERYTHING THAT COMES ASHORE (EXCEPT SEAGLASS I HOPE). MAYBE IF PEOPLE HAPPEN TO SEE CORAL AND SHELLS ETC BEING REMOVED FROM OUR BEACHES COULD KINDLY!!! EDUCATE THE PERSONS REGARDING THIS PROBLEM IT WOULD HELP. I DONT BELIEVE ITS TOURISTS THAT DO ALL THE DAMAGE. I SEE MANY HOMES DECORATED WITH SEALIFE AROUND THERE TREES.
