The conception of JUMOLYN LLC began in the winter of 97 after reading
an article titled "Authentic Caribbean, A Special Food Festival,"
in a New York newspaper called CaribNews; about the promotion
of foods produced and manufactured in the Caribbean. We thought
to ourselves, if it can happen in the tri-state of New York, New Jersey,
& Connecticut, why not here in the Caribbean, which has a very
rich food culture.
The name JUMOLYNS comes from the founding women, Juliana, Mona,
and Marilyn. We put our pennies together got samples ready
for a 4th of July picnic in the park and based on the responses and
orders we received, our minds were made up. We would make hot
sauce, seasonings, and other Caribbean influenced condiments.
The company is home based, and in its fourth year of operation.
Mona manages the home based business from St. Croix, U.S. Virgin Islands.
Our products are produced on the island
of St. Lucia. We are excited to have our products on the web
for the first time. We have participated in several food shows,
agricultural fairs, and taste tests throughout the Caribbean and United
States.
Our products are a huge success wherever
we go. The feedback from our customers has helped us decide
to go global with our authentic Caribbean products.
