Thank you so much for all of your support and the emails telling us how
you log on to the web cam and check out the St. Croix scene every day.
Some of you have been asking us what the surronding area around the webcam
looks like so when you get to St. Croix, you will know where the webcam
is.
The webcam is located
at the end of Queen Cross Street in Christiansted. Queen Cross ends at
the boardwalk, which is the view the webcam projects. The Deck Bar at
Rum Runners Restaurant is where the camera is mounted and protected from
the elements.
As you walk down the
boardwalk, you will see green feet painted on the boardwalk. This is the
best place to stand in order for people to clearly see you on their computer.
There is an eye painted on the wall where the camera is, giving you direction
to "look here". You can just about ask anyone once you get into
town where the GoToStCroix.com webcam is, and they will point you in the
right direction...it is the ONLY live webcam on St. Croix!
