Many inbound island visitors
plan their vacations to coincide with a Jump Up - family oriented, safe,
fun block party style events. The streets are closed off to traffic
so that the mocko jumbies can roam through the streets. Youth &
calypso bands sprinkle the town, restaurants and businesses stay open
late offering great specials. Visitors can enter drawings to win
prizes. The event is from 6-10pm, but the party continues long
after that!

Scheduled for the third Friday evening each month, businesses
and volunteers in Frederiksted host an impressive roster of musicians
from around the world. Sit outside, enjoy the sunset and breeze
coming off the water, and relax to some great music. The event
is free to everyone, but seating is first-come first-serve along the newly re-done Frederiskted waterfront. Music
begins at 5:30.
