Frederiksted, St. Croix

Frederiksted is located on the west end of St. Croix and home to Fort Frederik and The Frederiksted Pier, where cruise ships bunker. Frederiksted is often referred to as "Freedom City" by locals because of the fact that the town was the site of the emancipation of slaves in the then- Danish West Indies. Even by Caribbean standards, Frederiskted is on a much slower pace than her sister city to the east. You'll find beachfront restaurants, boutiques and several accommodations that take advantage of the leisure lifestyle. Travel west to our town of Frederiksted enjoy spectacular sunsets and monthly events such as Sunset Jazz.
