These shelters have a need for small breed dogs on a waiting list for adoptive homes. You need not adopt, but agree to transport a pet from St. Croix to the U.S. mainland. Year after year, thousands of barrels of Cruzan Rum are made right here on St. Croix. And, US residents, over the age of 21 are allowed to bring back five bottles of liquor duty-free, or six if one of the bottles is locally produced. The only place in the world you can tour the Cruzan Rum distillery is on St. Croix.
