Kelbe Yoga with Kristen Kelbe. Kelbe Yoga is a vinyasa based class that has elements from several yoga styles. Classes start with grounding, connecting breath to movement and then building heat in the body with Surya Namaskara A from Ashtanga yoga. The class focuses on alignment and often uses props to achieve optimum alignment. Kelbe Yoga also weaves TKV Desikachar theory into class. Each session has a standing series and ends with seated stretching to use the heat built throughout class to lengthen the body.
