New Year’s Eve Party @ CMCArts
Celebrate the New Year at the Caribbean Museum Center for the Arts with a delicious dinner with wine pairings prepared by Chef Ken Robinson served at 7pm, followed by a live performance by Charu Suri beginning at 9pm. Includes a glass of champagne at midnight, cash bar. Tickets are available for $150 per person, or a table of 5 for $900.
Chef Ken Robinson started his culinary journey 16 years ago, in France. Then from there the world has truly been his canvasses, making international stops in the south of France, Spain, Brazil and Nicaragua; but always returning home to practices crafts he picked up on his journey. A native New Yorker Chef Ken Worked for Sean Puffy Combs as a personal chef, appeared on chef Hunter at the famed Les Halle’s Downtown, and worked for numerous athletes and entertainers.
Charu Suri, a pianist and wide-ranging composer, has a history that requires some processing. She was born in India, raised in Africa, graduated from Princeton University, and performed at Carnegie Hall and Lincoln Center. Ms. Suri is the first female Indian-American jazz composer to premiere her work at Carnegie Hall.
