The Art of Face Painting Series (Age 6-8)
Caribbean Museum Center for the Arts (CMCArts) hosts The Art of Face Painting Series for ages 6-8 years old, Tuesdays in September from 4-6pm in the CMCArts Courtyard.
Face painting is a joyous, exciting and powerful art form, dating back to ancient times. Each week we will sharpen our face painting skills by learning to paint the classics:
- Week One: The Butterfly & Cat
- Week Two: Dog & Lion
- Week Three: Dragons & Dinosaurs
- Week Four: Balloons, Flowers & Hearts
Participants will develop, painting, drawing, and communication skills, as well as gain a strong understanding of their unique creative expression. Classes are taught by Artist, Designer and Art Educator Zunnania (Ms Z). Zunnania has over 20 years experience working with children of all ages, in local communities, developing their creative skills. Past projects range from product design, graphic design, fashion, and contemporary art. Zunnania shares her professional skills and knowledge gained from working in those industries.
*Participants will need to wear clothing and shoes they are not concerned with damaging. The paints we are use are washable, non toxic, and hypo allergenic, however they may stain some fabrics.
