Healing Paws
Healing Paws is helping to save the animals of St. Croix! Created to help mitigate the problems of overpopulation, abuse, neglect and abandonment of animals on the island, Healing Paws works closely with the St. Croix Animal Welfare Center, local veterinarians, foster parents, trainers and volunteers to help the community understand the importance of proper animal care, especially spay and neutering. Healing Paws is the driving force behind the Paws from Paradise program, Paws 101, Paws Fostering, and Paws Control, and is also seeking to develop long term funding to fund a no-kill sanctuary here on St. Croix.
