The Sunshine Foundation
Sunshine Foundation is dedicated to ending pet overpopulation on St Croix by providing basic, high-volume/low-cost spay and neuter services to people and pets in need. Sunshine Foundation is a 501C3 non-profit organization that opened the doors to the sugar mill headquarters on February 24, 2009 in celebration of Spay Day USA. Various programs have been developed in an effort to make spay and neuter services available and affordable to everyone in the St. Croix community. Today the Sunshine Foundation is focused on the often overlooked feral cat populations. For a $25 fee/donation, the Sunshine Foundation will do spay, vaccine, and test for feline leukemia so that healthy and fixed cats can return to their outdoor colonies without further contributing to pet overpopulation on St. Croix.
