Plessen Opens New Urgent Care Center

As usual, Plessen Healthcare is on the leading edge of improving medical services here on St. Croix. Plessen Healthcare started with their clinic and surgical center in Golden Rock, which continues to provide a wide range of adult primary care services and internal medicine subspecialties dedicated to chronic disease prevention. Then they introduced telemedicine to St. Croix just in time for the COVID-19 pandemic. Now, Plessen has opened a new, state of the art Urgent Care facility in the Sunny Isles Shopping Center.

With the opening of the Urgent Care Center, all Plessen Healthcare clients who require care on a walk-in basis will be seen at the new Urgent Care location at Sunny Isles. Patients will be able to walk-in to be seen in turn or alternatively may choose to remotely save their place in line through the online system, adding efficiency to the experience. The online option is available at plessenhealthcare.com. The medical clinic in Orange Grove will continue to serve patient primary care and specialty healthcare needs, by appointment only. Appointments can be made by calling (340) 715-7720.

The Urgent Care Center will be open 7 days a week, and their staff is experienced in urgent care and emergency medicine. They see patients ages 2 and up for acute illness, injuries, vaccines, drug screening, COVID testing, and more. The Urgent Care includes in-house diagnostics including x-ray and laboratory facilities.

Temporary Hours of operation are:

Monday – Friday 7 a.m. to 4 p.m.
Saturday and Sunday 8 a.m. to 2 p.m.

Extended Hours (Coming Soon) will be:

Monday – Friday 7 a.m. to 7 p.m.
Saturday and Sunday 8 a.m. to 2 p.m.
