HELP SAVE A DOG'S LIFE.
Take Back More Than A Souvenir.
The St. Croix Animal Welfare Center struggles every year to help our island pet overpopulation problem. There simply aren't enough people on this island to adopt all of the pets we see at the shelter. We are working closely with our community to educate on the importance of spaying and neutering our pets. In 2007, we started our Low Cost Spay/Neuter program that operates out of the shelter and services our needy community. In just one year, we managed to get 2,000 animals spayed or neutered! That's a great help for St. Croix, but we still had an adoption rate of only 15%. Until pet overpopulation is no longer a problem on St. Croix, we need to find homes for our Cruzan Critters.

Sponsor a Pet! SAVE A LIFE!
The cost that the St. Croix Welfare center pays to care for and send one of our pets to America is about $300! Where does this figure come from? Each animal has been with us at the shelter for weeks, they are given a clean bill of health, a health certificate, a carrier to travel in, and a ticket to the United States.
We need financial support, and as a non-profit organization, we rely on donations to keep this program running. We are the only shelter on St. Croix with too many pets to home!
Please pledge your support and sponsor a pet today. Visit our website. |
