BLACKFULLNESS is a word coined by the late Black feminist Audre Lorde to describe what she loved about her chosen home of St. Croix. Specifically, her beloved majority Black community that provided her with a sense of great belonging and purpose that transcended place. This year's exhibition spotlights the spirit of resistance that is at the core of Virgin Islanders' identity and that is etched into everything that makes Virgin Islands' cultural production so powerful. It calls attention to how Black protest and activism in our region have influenced international Black brilliance and liberation.

The St. Croix Animal Welfare Center is teaming up with the bars of the boardwalk to raise funds for the furry friends on island who are still looking for their forever home. A ticket gets you 4 drink vouchers, 4 raffle tickets, and a SCAWC bar glass. Start at Cruzan Bayou Bistro and end the night at Shupe's on the Boardwalk.

The St. Croix Road Racing Committee hosts this 3.1-mile running race on a classic course from the past, starting at Southgate and finishing in Christiansted. A shuttle from Christiansted to the start will be provided. Walkers are welcome to participate!

Hosted by the VI Triathlon Federation, this multi-sport race includes an 800-meter swim, a 14-mile bike, and a 5K run. Starts at Cane Bay Beach. Relays are welcome in the sprint distance. The Try-a-Tri is perfect for junior athletes and adults new to endurance sports.
