A Christiansted Block Party That’s Fun For The Whole Family! Many inbound island visitors plan their vacations to coincide with a Jump Up – family oriented, safe, fun block party style events. The streets are closed off to traffic so that the Mocko Jumbies can roam through the streets. St. Croix social service organizations, youth groups and calypso bands sprinkle the town. Restaurants and businesses stay open late offering great specials, and local food and drink vendors offer up a taste of local flavor. Visitors can enter drawings to win prizes.
