St. Croix Scenic 50 Race

Since it’s inception in 2010, the St. Croix Scenic 50 has been as challenging as it is beautiful. The scenic 50k race course takes runners up heart pounding climbs and quad screaming descents in the tropical winter heat. The St. Croix Scenic 50 offers both Individual and Team Relay events, so if your not ready to run a full 50k you can have a two to four person relay team. The Team Relay divides the 50k course into four legs to be run by a 2 to 4 person team, using the top of ‘The Beast’ and the Turn Around Aid Stations as transition points.

The Course:

The course is a figure eight of sorts, beginning and ending at the beautiful Cane Bay beach. Runners will enjoy the breath-taking views of sunrise along the water of the north shore for the first 5 miles before heading into the trails and rolling hills leading up and over to the west-end shoreline. The infamous Crusher hill returns runners to the trails, leading to the steep but stunning run down ‘The Beast’ to the finish line party at Cane Bay.

This year’s relay will be a 3 leg relay. Each leg will be approximately 9-12 miles in length.
