Women’s Race

The Women’s Coalition of St. Croix (WCSC) invites you to move for peace and justice!  The Women’s Race promotes the end of violence and raises awareness on domestic abuse and sexual assault in our local and global communities. The WCSC has been inspiring women and girls to run, jog, or walk the 2 miles through the streets of one of St. Croix’s historic towns in the annual Women’s Day Race for over 30 years. This event has become one of the WCSC’s most important annual fundraisers. There are even special categories of Mothers Pushing Strollers and Mothers Carrying Babies to ensure everyone can participate.  Awards are given for first, second and third place race finishers, and first finishers in a number of age categories.

We all know there is strength in numbers and the Women’s Race consistently attracts one of the largest fields of female only road race participants in the Caribbean. Spread the word to all the females in your life. To participate in the next Women’s Race, please visit Get a group of 5 or more together – be it family, friends, company team – and represent!
