The Reef Golf Course
The Reef is a fun, fast and affordable 9-hole golf course and so much more! Tucked into tranquil Teague Bay, The Reef offers a Par 35, 9-hole golf course and driving range, as well as a disc golf course. All golf activities are fun for any age and make for a great family outing. A tennis court and pickelball courts are also available for play on premises, along with Duggan's Reef serving the island’s best beachside dinners, and TLC Café for breakfast and lunch. The Reef also offers private lessons, league play, tournaments, and more. Tee times are not necessary, but are appreciated.
The Reef is a Par 35, 9-hole golf course located on the East End of St. Croix, offering spectacular views of the Caribbean and Buck Island. Golf greens fees $20 to walk or $30 with cart for 9 holes, or $30 to walk or $50 with cart a for 18 holes. The course also includes a driving range and onsite pro shop, as well as offering the following:
- Golf lessons for all ages and abilities
- Carts and rental clubs
- Single and family memberships available for golf, disc golf, tennis and pickleball (1 year, 6 months or 4 months)
- Twilight Golf starting daily at 3:30pm - $15 to walk or $25 with cart
- Available for charity events
The Reef is home to the first disc golf course in the Caribbean, The Iguana!
Disc golf is very family-friendly, due to the fact that it can be played by all ages and is an inexpensive activity. Basically, if you can throw a Frisbee®, you can play disc golf. The Iguana Disc Golf Course at The Reef is now open for play for 9 or 18 holes. For more information, or for reservations, please call (340) 773-8844.
If you are not familiar with disc golf it is played similarly to regular golf but instead of using golf clubs and aiming golf balls for a hole in the ground marked with a removable flag, disc golf players use golf discs (basically a weighted Frisbee®) and aim for a ‘disc pole hole’ (a pole extending up from the ground with chains and a basket where the disc lands). The object of the game is to complete each hole in the fewest number of throws, starting from a tee area and finishing at the disc pole hole. Check out the video below to learn more about disc golf.
The Reef has two tennis courts, and pickleball courts. If you're not familiar with pickleball, it's a paddle sport that combines elements of tennis, badminton and ping-pong. It's a fun, social game that's also great for all ages.
The courts at The Reef are available to residents and guests. Call the pro shop at (340) 773-8844 to inquire about tennis or pickleball court rental and paddles, or to reserve a court. The tennis and pickleball court rate is $10 for 2 hours. Kids under 18 are free with playing adult.
