At 750 feet above sea level, you’ll begin your zip line adventure with The Mongoose, a 515-foot introductory line reaching speeds of up to 20 mph. Then it’s time for The Gauntlet, a thrilling 2,473-foot ride stretching more than half a mile across the valley, with a 205-foot vertical drop and speeds over 30 mph. Finish with Carambola Run, the fastest of the three, reaching up to 40 mph across 1,382 feet of open valley. Your tour ends near a historic sugar mill, perfect for a final photo opportunity, before the Safari Bus returns you to the Welcome Center.
Important Requirements:
Participants must be at least 10 years old and weigh between 85 and 250 lbs (38.5–113 kg). Ages 10–15 must be accompanied and ride with a parent or guardian. Ages 16–17 require a parent or guardian to sign the waiver. Closed-toe shoes are required. Loose clothing and personal items cannot be taken on the zip lines.
The zip line is not recommended for guests with heart conditions, back or neck problems, recent surgery, pregnancy, motion sickness, fear of heights or high speeds, or other conditions that could be aggravated by the activity. Guests must follow all guide instructions and must not participate under the influence of drugs or alcohol.
Plan to arrive 30 minutes before your scheduled tour. Late arrivals will miss their excursion without a refund. Cancellations made more than 48 hours in advance receive a full refund. Tours operate rain or shine, with weather-related cancellations determined by Carambola Zip Line.
