Established in 1949, Cottages by the Sea is a family owned and operated boutique hotel located on the West end of St Croix, ¼ mile south of the quaint town of Frederiksted. Cottages by the Sea offers 25 uniquely different and newly-renovated beachfront cottages on a breathtaking stretch of sandy beach overlooking the clear blue waters of the Caribbean Sea. We offer complimentary use of our bikes, kayaks, lounge chairs, book library, grills and wifi and most of our cottages are equipped with full kitchens. Join us on one of our beachfront patios to await the spectacular sunsets and catch a glimpse of the elusive “green flash.”
