After living in Oregon 20 years, Chris and Christie decided to move to a place with a warmer climate. Chance brought them to St. Croix in 2002, and the island stole their hearts. Besides the amazing Caribbean Sea, days of bright sunny skies, and gorgeous tropical plants, it was the wonderful, warm, diverse, and friendly people of St. Croix which won them over. Besides a love of outdoors, Chris and Christie also enjoy history, cooking, gardening, art, and lots of playtime with their dogs and cats – especially Sunday beach romps with the dogs. Now, after living the island life for so long they just can’t imagine living anyplace else.
