The Reef: More Than Golf & Tennis
If you’ve driven by The Reef Golf Course recently, you’ve probably noticed that the course is greening up and looking great…but, that’s not the only thing happening at The Reef. Known for being fun, fast and affordable, this 9-hole golf course on the East End of St. Croix has been a local favorite for years. Now offering more fun and games than ever, The Reef is making improvements and implementing ideas to bring the course to its fullest potential.
9-Hole Golf Course
At The Reef Golf Course you can enjoy a traditional round of golf on the 9-hole, Par 35 course or hit the driving range. Carts and clubs are available for rent, and there is a golf shop onsite for your convenience. You can even enjoy Twilight Golf starting at 3:30pm for just $20 walking, or $30 with a cart.
Golf Lessons
If you’re not a golfer and want to learn the sport, take private golf lessons at The Reef. You can contact The Reef Golf Shop at (340) 773-8844 to schedule private lessons or find out about any workshops or clinics.
Disc Golf
Disc golf is played much like golf, but instead of a ball and clubs, players use a flying disc or Frisbee®. The Iguana at The Reef is the only 18 hole disc golf course in the Caribbean. You can BYO discs, or rental discs are available onsite.
Tennis and Pickle Ball
Another popular game to St. Croix by storm recently is pickleball. Fun, social and friendly, pickleball is a paddle sport that combines elements of tennis, badminton and table tennis (or ping-pong). The Reef has four new pickle ball courts, including one lit for night play.
There are also tennis courts at The Reef, available to residents and guests. Call the pro shop to inquire about tennis or pickle ball court rental and paddles.
Head to The Reef Golf Course all things golf, including disc golf and tennis/pickleball related, the Golf Shop, golf staff, course maintenance and improvements, tournaments and clinics, golf lessons, and running a junior golf program.
