St. Croix Ultimate Bluewater Adventures (SCUBA)
The “Friendliest Dive Shop on Earth”. Our staff makes all the difference. It all looks the same underwater, fantastic if you’re diving St. Croix, but it’s what happens on the surface that sets us apart. Check out our over 1,000 TripAdvisor reviews. Two locations, Christiansted and Frederiksted, and two custom US Coast Guard inspected dive boats that dive ALL of the moored dive sites along St. Croix’s north and west shores. St. Croix is the only place in the Caribbean to dive a wall, a reef, a wreck, and a pier, and we dive them all every day of the year.

St. Croix Ultimate Bluewater Adventures (SCUBA) opened on July 15, 1998. Longtime island residents Ed and Molly met while working for the same airline, a Caribbean subsidiary of Eastern Airlines. After the demise of Eastern, Molly and Ed didn't want to leave the island that they loved so much. Ed was a NAUI Instructor (Molly was his first student) and Molly had retail background from college so they started working for what was then the oldest dive shop on the island, V.I. Divers, Ltd.
SCUBA started out with a small retail dive shop in Christiansted on St. Croix and no boat or dive equipment. Within the first six months V.I. Divers, Ltd., sold the diving equipment, compressor and rental gear to Molly and Ed and the dive boat Reliance was soon added.
In October of 2017 SCUBA added a second location in Frederiksted on the west shore of the island. While they had always operated a west shore dive boat the addition of a full service dive shop has been great.
We have two custom dive boats that dives all of the moored dive sites along St. Croix's north and west shores.
Our dive boat Reliance dives the walls (it's up to 13,200' deep) and reefs (the largest living reef of any Caribbean island and the second longest barrier reef in the Caribbean), from our dive shop in Christiansted.
Our dive boat Scuba Dos dives the 5 wrecks, reefs, and the famous Frederiksted Pier on the west shore of the island. The boat departs from directly off of the cruise ship pier making it extremely convenient for divers arriving by cruise ship.
We also dive Buck Island National Monument on Wednesday afternoons (one-tank) in cooperation with Caribbean Sea Adventures. We use their boat and Captain and staff the boat with your dive crew.
