Eighth Flag Charters invites you on a two-hour sailing adventure in Salt River Bay. Learn about the Golden Age of Piracy as you sail over the cannons, bones, and ballast stones of Martel’s ships and by the remains of Fort Flammand, the last pirate fortress in the Caribbean. Stanford Joines, author of The Eighth Flag (A history of the Caribbean 1493-1750), will take you on a sail in the wake of Blackbeard, Bellamy, and more in the calm waters of Salt River.
