Weekend Getaway to St. Croix

St. Croix is a hidden gem amongst the US Virgin Islands, especially since we are across the Caribbean Sea about 40 miles away from the other islands. There is no passport required to travel to St. Croix from St. Thomas or St. John, and it’s easier than ever to get here, so why not plan a weekend getaway or book a vacation and stay awhile?

While St. Croix is a relatively small island, it’s surprisingly diverse. From the high-desert like landscape and scenic ocean vistas of the East End, to the rainforest and white sand beaches of the West End, and everything in between. If you’re coming for a weekend or more check out our Regional Guides to decide which part of the island is the best place for you to stay. Since St. Croix is large compared to St. Thomas and St. John, and attractions are spread out all across the island, we recommend renting a car while you’re here so you can get around easily.
