Long Reef Beach is located at Mill Harbour Condominiums on the North Shore of St. Croix. Enjoy food and drinks at the bar and restaurant, lounge on one of the lounge chairs underneath a palm tree, or relax in one of the hammocks. The water can be somewhat murky here. It is protected by a large reef and if you walk down the beach, it is somewhat shallower. You will find little pools of water, which are great to lay in. The beach offers excellent snorkeling at ‘Tire Reef’ and ‘Long Reef’ directly in front of Mill Harbour. If you’re looking for peace and quiet, this is a good beach to go to as it is typically not too crowded, and there is plenty of parking.
From Christiansted, take Northside Road (Route 74) to the light at the 5 corners intersection, turn right at the light and take Estate Golden Rock road to the Mill Harbour Condominiums and park there.
While all beaches on St. Croix are public, the use of the lounge chairs, hammocks and facilities is limited to guests of the surrounding condos and patrons of the restaurant and bar.
Parking is available at Mill Harbour Condominiums, and there is a bar and restaurant onsite. There are also lounge chairs and hammocks available to guests.
