May Calendar
With sunny skies and temperatures in the low 80s, May is the perfect time to get outside on St. Croix. From the annual Kite Festival and Mermaid Mixer to Cinco de Mayo and Mother’s Day celebrations, the island is filled with fun all month long. Some years, May also offers a Jump Up in Christiansted, a popular local street party.
May is also part of the tourism off season on St. Croix, making it an especially laid-back time on the island.

Jump Up
The streets of Christiansted town are closed to vehicles and become a large outdoor street party with live music, entertainment, food vendors and all of your favorite shops and restaurants.

Mermaid Mixer
The Mermaid Mixer is a women-only, multi-sport event hosted annually in May by the Virgin Islands Triathlon Federation and sponsored by Mutiny Island Vodka.
