October Calendar
October continues St. Croix’s warm tropical weather, with daytime temperatures typically reaching the upper 80s. As the month progresses, the island begins to welcome the return of cruise ships, bringing a renewed energy to Frederiksted and Christiansted while still maintaining the relaxed atmosphere that makes St. Croix so special.
October is also a fun month for events. Runners can lace up for the West Indies 5K or the Junior Duathlon. Virgin Islands-Puerto Rico Friendship Day, the Bush Cook/Chef Cook event, and Family Fall Festival are great events for the whole family to attend. Plus, as Halloween approaches, local businesses and venues celebrate with costume contests, themed parties, and family-friendly festivities across the island.
With a quieter pace before the busy winter season arrives, October is an ideal time to enjoy St. Croix’s beautiful beaches, outdoor adventures, and vibrant local events.
