Each December, the Crucian Coconut Festival welcomes visitors and vendors from the U. S. Virgin Islands and abroad to the Estate Bethlehem Sugar Factory grounds to celebrate the wonders of the coconut. Guests enjoy curated exhibits of agriculture, commerce, fine arts, horticulture, crafts, fashion, and food. The coconut is a Caribbean identifier and is woven into the fabric of Virgin Islands culture. The festival is an ode to farmers who work hard everyday to preserve the historical and agricultural legacy of the coconut and many other indigenous flora of the Virgin Islands.
