Halloween on St. Croix

There is up to an entire week dedicated to Halloween events each year on St. Croix! Everything from family friendly trick-or-treating to costumed contests to dancing the night away. Don your scariest, funniest or most creative costume to win some fantastic prizes at one of many island wide costume contests. Get your candy fix while trick-or-treating with the kids. Visit a spooky haunt. Catch some live music. Join in the celebration at one of the island’s Halloween parties. There are plenty of options when you are planning your Halloween celebrations. Here are a few of the regularly held events you can look forward to for Halloween here on St. Croix:

Galloween

Organized by the local businesses in Gallows Bay, this annual event provides a fun and safe place for kids to trick-or-treat. Local businesses provide treats, entertainment, and even a photographer to get photos of the kids in their costumes.

Trunk or Treat at St. Croix East End Marine Park

This family friendly event hosted by Friends of the St. Croix East End Marine Park allows the kids to trick-or-treat in one safe spot by walking from car to car. As a fun added benefit, the kids also have some environmental educational opportunities provided by the park staff.

Halloween Dance Party & Costume Contest

For the adults out there, Tamarind Reef Resort’s Deep End Bar & Grille is known for their legendary Halloween dance party and costume contest. Get creative with your individual or group costumes for a chance to win prizes.
