Carambola Golf Club is truly a treasure of American golf, that just happens to be set in a Caribbean paradise. Winding through a lush tropical valley on the island of St Croix, this Robert Trent Jones, Sr. masterpiece was commissioned by Laurence Rockefeller and opened in 1966. Jones, one of the most highly respected designers at the time, exceeded all expectations on this classic parkland design that stretches over 7,000 yards with water hazards coming into play on seven holes.
