St. Croix Seashell Society Museum
The St. Croix Seashell Museum, founded in 2014, highlights the beauty and stewardship of the marine ecology of our island. The St. Croix Seashell Society hosts educational workshops throughout the year to increase awareness and appreciation of seashells and mollusks. The St. George Village Botanical Garden Great Hall is the site for our Seashell Museum, exhibits and other educational programs. Open Monday – Saturday 9am–3pm. Ongoing Society projects include a permanent shell mosaic at The Garden, annual Seashell Christmas Tree and ornament making, and a Conch Shell Orchestra! We are a 501c3 non-profit. Help us preserve and expand our Seashell Museum as a donor, member, volunteer, or by donating or loaning shells.
