Kids just want to have fun!
Here on St. Croix you will find a multitude of activities for children and their parents to participate in together, or apart. The kids will love water sports, outdoor movie nights, crab races, pool time and more. Many hotels and resorts even offer activities specifically for kids, so be sure to ask when you make your reservations or check in. Chances are they have a supervised “kids camp” where they can play ping-pong, swim, snorkel, and many other island-style activities to keep your children entertained. This will give you a chance to spoil yourself with a beach side massage…or golf…or shopping…or just some quiet time to yourselves.
Remember, KIDS JUST WANNA HAVE FUN, so here are a few more fun ideas for kids:
- A travel journal is a unique way to ensure your kids remember their trip to St. Croix. Each night, spend a minute with them as they draw or write about their day. You can buy or make your own personalized travel journal they will cherish for a long time.
- If you have had enough of the pool and beach, make up a scavenger hunt on your hotel property. This is something quick and easy and they will be able explore on their own. Hotel staff is usually accommodating, but make sure you stay safe and your children know their boundaries.
- Buy your child a disposable camera so they can take their own pictures! You will be amazed how the photos will turn out and your child might develop a new hobby.
- Pick up St. Croix postcards from shops and racks at various locations around the island and have your child send them to friends and family back home.
