Feather Leaf Inn
The Feather Leaf Inn is the ideal destination for groups. Every room has an ocean view and there are multiple gorgeous common spaces for classes, lectures, film screenings, as well as open-air dining. This 19 acre, oceanfront estate includes a pool and backyard, indoor and outdoor common areas, and an expansive shaded grove of trees. It has been lovingly restored to facilitate retreats and conferences. Dip in the salt water pool, explore tidepools along the shoreline, borrow a mask and fins and spend time in the Caribbean Sea, bicycle to the lighthouse, and enjoy dinner together on the huge covered porch while watching the sun set over the Caribbean. The historic buildings provide multiple settings for classes and workshops. If you want to host a memorable retreat, the Feather Leaf Inn will provide you with a setting to experience life to the fullest.

Ryan and Corina
We sailed to St. Croix in December of 2017. Corina is a marine scientist and Ryan has a background in historic restoration. Both of us are passionate about education and solutions for a healthier environment.
Our interests:
Forest stewardship and food security
At the Feather Leaf Inn we’ve planted over 100 fruit and nut trees. We want to grow food to serve at the Inn, support local farming communities and rely less on food that is shipped to the island.
Marine science
We scuba dive and snorkel our coral reefs regularly and love sharing information about the animals and habitats around us. We are engaged in coral reef restoration.
A balanced telling of history
Stewarding a 262 year-old historic property takes a lot of time and dedication. This estate had been private for centuries before we opened it as an inn. When the Danish colonized the island they enslaved tens of thousands of people from Africa to grow sugar for Europe. We want to share the complete history of what happened here, learn and grow from it.
Sustainability
In its essence, the building restoration at the Feather Leaf Inn is an upcycle project. We believe in re-using what we have rather than consuming new products or leveling nature to construct new buildings. The Feather Leaf Inn is powered with 100% renewable energy.
