Sandy Point National Wildlife Refuge is known for the many sea turtles that nest there every year, but did you know that there are many other interesting plants and animals that make the refuge their home? Spend a morning learning about the natural history of this unique Caribbean refuge. MAP Free for St. Croix Environmental Association (SEA) members and children, $10 for non-members. Turtle Season Kick-Off with SEA

Celebrate the beginning of sea turtle nesting season with turtle info and activities and a beach clean-up. Turtles and hatchling turtles can often get hung up in trash on the beach or worse, they mistake it for food when it washes into the water. This activity is open to all community members.
