May on St. Croix
With an average temperature in the low-80's, May is a great month for outdoor fitness activities on St. Croix, and the island offers many! From the annual Kite Festival hosted by St. Croix East End Marine Park, to VI Triathlon Federation's Mermaid Mixer, there's outdoor fun to be had for all. A Christiansted Block Party that’s fun for the whole family! The streets are closed off to traffic so that the Moko Jumbies can roam, and St. Croix social service organizations, youth groups and calypso bands sprinkle the town. Restaurants and businesses stay open late offering great specials, and local food and drink vendors offer up a taste of local flavor. The event is from 6-10pm, but the party continues long after that!
