| Did
you know that St. Croix is the only place in the Caribbean where you can
dive a wall, reefs, wrecks and a pier all in ONE day? St. Croix's dive
professionals are working hard to spread the word.
The Caribbean is known for it's glorious crystal clear water and fascinating underwater marine life. Schools of brightly colored fish surround you while turtles and eagle rays glide peacefully by. Sea fans in shades of green, yellow and purple flow in the currents as small reef fish dart in and out of their protective and vivid coral heads.
This is diving in the Caribbean. St. Croix diving is unique because of the diversity of the dive locations that are in close proximity.
The largest living coral reef in the Caribbean outlines St. Croix's north shore. These reefs are home to many fish and exotic sea creatures. Along this reef, on the northwest side of the island, stands an underwater wall more than 13,00 feet deep. On the calm west end, there are hidden treasures of at least 5 shipwrecks within 100 yards of each other. |
